About
About Me
I began seeing clients in 2014, after a decade-long career in human resources and consulting. Over time, I was drawn more and more to working with people struggling with disordered eating, body image concerns, and the emotional challenges that often accompany them. I noticed how often these struggles were intertwined with early experiences, societal pressures, trauma, shame, and a sense of disconnection from self.
This work is deeply personal to me. I’ve been on my own journey of unlearning diet culture, challenging harmful messages, and building a more compassionate relationship with my body and myself. I know how consuming and painful these struggles can be — and I also know that healing is possible. Like many of my clients, I’m still navigating what it means to live in a body in a world full of expectations, while learning to approach myself with more kindness.
In addition to my focus on food and body image concerns, I also work with clients experiencing anxiety, perfectionism, the lingering effects of trauma, and major life transitions. I have additional training in maternal mental health through Postpartum Support International, and I enjoy supporting people through pregnancy, postpartum, and other identity-shaping seasons of life.
I take a Health at Every Size® (HAES®)-aligned approach, which means I believe people of all sizes deserve respectful, compassionate care, and that health is not determined by weight or body size. My practice is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming, inclusive, and rooted in anti-oppression. I strive to create a space where all parts of you are welcome.
When I’m not working, you’ll often find me enjoying time with my family, being outside, or reading a good book.
